Miércoles dia ploughing

Today, Wednesday the 16th, we went on a really cool trip to "The Ploughing"—a famous Irish festival featuring tractors and animals. We started the day very early because we had to take two buses and a train to get to the festival site. As soon as we arrived, I was amazed by how huge it was and how many people were there; there were also tons of food stalls and shops, and I bought a Limerick sweatshirt. Later, we spent some time at the fairground, though we didn't go on any rides since a single turn cost eight euros—too expensive for us—so we preferred to spend our money on souvenirs and food. When it was time to leave, we took a double-decker bus; I’d never ridden on one before and really enjoyed it. It dropped us off at the station where we had to catch two trains—one right after the other—so quickly that we almost missed the second one. After getting off the train, we realized we had missed our connecting bus, but a bus driver kindly offered to drive us to Kilfinane. There, we bought dinner before finally heading home to sleep after a long day filled with travel.
